shadow of the day ~ Original

Shadow of the Day was created in a moment of darkness, when I felt lost and disconnected from myself. The forms began to resemble silhouettes of leaves and branches, with small traces of sunlight passing through. Its title comes from the Linkin Park song I grew up listening to, whose sadness and reflections on death have always stayed with me. The piece holds beauty beside sadness, allowing light and shadow to give shape to one another.
