moon~water ~ print

I like to remind myself how much we resemble the natural world around us. Just as the moon moves through phases and pulls the tides, we too seem to live in cycles of growth, rest, and renewal. Water holds a similar duality: it finds its way through every crevasse, nook and cranny, yet over time has the power to mould rock and reshape entire landscapes.

I see moon~water as a reminder that wholeness comes from allowing seemingly opposing parts of ourselves to exist together rather than choosing one over another ~light and dark, change and constancy, softness and strength. Perhaps that’s what has always drawn me to moonwater: the way something as simple as water left beneath the moon can become sacred and deeply personal, simply through the intention we place within it.
